  1. I have been thinking about running my first marathon as well lately! And even more thinking about writing a blog post about thinking about running one. You blog is inspirational to me because I feel like I am in the same boat.

Keep up the great work and good luck training!

    • Thanks Cassandra! I’ve been running half marathons for 2 years now and I’ve always wanted to run a full–the thought just terrifies me. A bunch of family members signed up to do this one and my first reaction was, “psh, good luck!” But the more I thought about it, if I’m going to run one at some point in my life, this is the one to do. Blogging is definitely helping for some odd reason. So if you decide to do it, I look forward to reading yours too. We can read each others troubles 🙂

  2. Its obviously a take on the awesome Indian Holi festival, sans religion+ running. I think they have one in Santa Monica coming up? Looks like fun times!

    • Yeah, it looks great! I’d have to do one in either Chicago or Minneapolis since I’m in Madison, but any city would be a blast. Just another different kind of run. I’m not a huge fan of obstacle course runs because of how backed up they get, but have you ever done a Tough Mudder?
