I’m going to see The Lumineers on Thursday and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s been months since my last concert and it’s very overdue. Here’s a taste of their music:
Changing directions…I took out the good ‘ol SLR this weekend for some photography fun. I’m not exaggerating when I say this, but I took 432 pictures in a matter of 3 hours. Don’t worry, I won’t share them ALL.
I hit up the Stable where my mom boards her 32-year-old horse, Big Fella. Then I took a stroll downtown Madison and snapped some shots of the Union and the Capital.
Horses have an average lifespan of 25-30 years.
This guy is a trooper. He recently foundered, which is foot inflammation in horses. Regardless, he’s still gorgeous as ever.
I took about 200 pics of Big Fella for my mom, now I just need to think of a cool way to give them to her….something to remember him by.
As a University of Iowa grad, the UW-Madison Memorial Union is the only thing that makes me jealous of UW grads.
Plus, I REALLY want a chair from the Union. They go for $265…they’re not THAT comfortable.
The Capital Square could be my favorite place in Madison. Fall has always been my favorite season, but spring is catching up…quickly.
Slowly but surely, I’m learning the functions of my camera. I used the manual focus for this fountain picture. I should really take a class…
