My name is Megan. I’m 28. I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. I graduated from the University of Iowa (go Hawks) in 2009. Post college, I really ventured out and moved back Madison.
I’m currently the Operations & Marketing Manager for a company in Madison. My passion is sports. My vices include but are not limited to running, food, Twitter, indie music, college football, photography and traveling. I’m known to be a (huge) Zac Efron fan; please don’t hold that against me.
I started blogging about training for my first marathon, which I accomplished in San Diego on June 3rd, 2012! Running is my love/hate relationship. I’m not great at it, but I enjoy having goals to work toward. So from now on, I’ll write about tackling my bucket list and one major item on it: running a half marathon in all 50 states.

I ran in the Fort Worth Cowtown 5k in 2009, so I would say run the half in that event one year. If I can ever start running again, maybe I could run it with you, or at least eat a pizza and cheer you on!! 😛
